Dollywood is Dolly Parton's themepark (think Appalachian Disneyland). We recommend trying to visit Dollywood on a weekday to beat the crowds. If you visit, you must load up on their famous cinnamon bread and take a spin on the Thunderhead rollercoaster.
The Cades Cove Loop winds for 11 miles through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a picturesque drive with a backdrop of the mountain peaks and its lush, rolling greens. Europeans settled the Cades Cove area between 1818 and 1821. Today, visitors to Cades Cove can enjoy the largest variety of historic buildings in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When traveling the scenic loop road, plan to get out and visit the restored buildings that include three churches, log homes, cantilevered barns and a working mill.
Tuckaleechee Caverns, known as the “Greatest Site Under the Smokies” are the highest rating Cave or Cavern of the Eastern United States. Carved inside the earth’s oldest mountain chain and estimated to be between twenty to thirty million years old, the Caverns are rich in history and lore in recent years as well.

The distillery in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a popular attraction where guests are invited to taste samples of Sugarlands' award-winning spirits, take behind the-scenes tours of the production, and purchase their favorite spirits, mountain merchandise, and apparel.
