Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are so happy you are coming and want you to feel comfortable in the temperature of summer in Greece! We encourage formal attire. Dress to impress we always say. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentleman should wear a sports coat, tie optional.

Who can I bring?

Answer

While we would love for you to bring as many people as you want to vacation with, we ask you only bring who was included on your invitation to the wedding. We can always hangout with more friends before or after!

When should I arrive in Athens?

Answer

We would recommend two days before the wedding at minimum to make sure you are settled and rested. Sarah & Shuhaib will be in Greece Friday August 4th!

How far is the venue from the Athens airport?

Answer

Private House, Island Art & Taste is just under 30 minutes from the Athens Airport. All of the hotels recommended are no more than 15 minutes from the venue.

The couple already knows I can't make it, do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes please! It will be very helpful to update with your declination. You will be missed.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors.

I'm not familiar with Athens, how should I make the most of my trip?

Answer

If you stay at one of our recommended hotels, you will be in the seaside suburb of Athens known as Vouliagmeni. This is an upscale coastal town with many things to do. Visit our "things to do" section for more information. If you have time, one of the best things you can do is take a day trip from Athens to a nearby island! Greece is absolutely spectacular and you should see as much of it as you can! Our favorite islands are Mykonos, Zakynthos, and Crete.
