May 1st, please! We have a lot to plan from Dallas for our Louisville wedding, so the sooner we know the final numbers to plan for, the better. :)
Yes! You can find our registry on this website, or by using registryfinder.com. Our favorite part of the registry is the fund to donate to the non-profit where Shawn serves as a Vice President - this ministry from City Missions serves people who are unhoused and homeless in Plano and Dallas, and Shawn has been volunteering time handing out socks and hygiene supplies, planning fundraising events, and strategizing for the vision of this incredible ministry for several years. Sarah has loved joining him and the rest of the City Missions & Rock the Socks team! Thank you so much for your generosity.
No official dress code! The wedding party are wearing formal wear paired with their favorite sneakers for the ceremony. We want to invite you to wear your favorite shoes—Jordans or high heels are equally welcome and celebrated!
Food at the reception will be served buffet style - the main dishes are build-your-own so you can customize what you eat for your needs or preference, and there will be sides and appetizers that are gluten- and dairy-free. If you have any additional allergies, you are welcome to bring whatever food items you need to stay healthy, safe, and satisfied during dinner!
There is plenty of self-parking for both the ceremony and the reception. There will be about a twenty-minute drive from one location to the other, so you can be prepared for two different locations. Louisville also has plenty of ride-share options, so if you need to call an Uber or Lyft, there should be one in the vicinity for you.
