Question

Guys, did I read this wrong... this is at a kids summer camp?

Answer

You read this 100% right! This is a summer camp wedding!

Question

I’m hesitant to stay at a summer camp...like... in a cabin?

Answer

We hear you. This may be our dream weekend, but it may not be yours. What we say to you is this: we love you all and want you to be here. In selecting this facility, the comfort of our guests was at the very top of our minds. You are in the hands of professionals at Camp Cody! They run a full time summer camp as well as many weddings year round. The cabins are neat, with modern electricity, heat and indoor plumbing. There are various number of different cabin arrangements that we will be assigning. Most cabins are 8 bunks with two showers, two bathroom stalls and two sinks. We also assure you, they smell of the piney-est pine.

Question

Ok, you got me. I’m in. What do I need to bring?

Answer

Really, whatever you’d bring to any other weekend wedding. Please don’t hesitate to bring any other additional comfort items you can’t leave home without. Extra pillows, shower shoes/sandals, bathing suits, bug spray, sun screen. Feel free to fill your coolers with your favorite beverage of choice and wheel them all over camp. There will be unlimited ice available at any time. We only request that you shy away from glass containers, everything else is fair game.

Question

How do I check in?

Answer

Welcome Happy Campers! Please enter Camp Cody at the Cody Road entrance and park anywhere in Guest Parking. From there if you find your way to the Admin Building. At the Admin Building you will get your cabin assignment for the weekend and all the information needed to have the time of your life!

Question

I'M A LITTLE CONFUSED BY THE DRESS CODE. THIS ALL SEEMS PRETTY CASUAL...

Answer

It is.

Question

No, really, what should I wear?

Answer

The activities on Friday night, during the DAY on Saturday, and Sunday are outdoors, active, and completely CASUAL. Wear. What. You. Want. For the Ceremony and Reception please wear cocktail attire. We want you to feel comfortable and feel good eating, drinking, and dancing. We'll probably all get medium sweaty.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Ahhhhh, nice try! You almost got us! Accommodations are on the campground, as is everything else for the weekend. This is a pretty rural part of NH. Trust us, the action is on the campground.

Question

Are kids (or dogs) welcomed?

Answer

We love all of your kids. They are gems. Really. But, here’s the thing: you’re the kids this weekend! We hope you’ll make arrangements to have your sweet kiddos (dogs, included!) to hang out with other family or friends this weekend.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course! All meals are provided by Camp Cody. Brunch Saturday morning is available to all those spending the night Friday night, which is served buffet style. Saturday dinner is provided at the reception as is an additional buffet Sunday morning for all guests spending the night Saturday. The camp has ensured us they will provide safe options for those with allergies. Please let us know how we can help. ***Camp Cody is strictly a nut free campus. We ask that you do not bring any items in to your cabins or to share that have any nut products in them.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Parking the whole weekend...put your keys away until Sunday!

Question

How much will all this cost?

Answer

Total cost per person to stay with us at Camp Cody is $140 for the whole weekend. This cost includes all meals as well as basic linens for your stay. If you are only able to stay one night with us the cost would be $70. Family members under 18 are at no cost. More details concerning how to register at the camp (AKA booking your bunk) will follow shortly with the formal invitations. The gist will be this: the camp will provide us with a booking website, which we will send along to all ya’all. Easy Peasy.
