Sebastian’s perspective: I met Sarah in 6th grade, at Calvary Church. I started getting interested when we both got brought into a planning team in 7th grade, however nothing really came out of it. We talked here and there, and I always got some sort of little hiccup inside me whenever I talked to her. Then we went for a couple years without really seeing each other much at all, I moved churches and so that separated us a good bit. Eventually, and I’m not really sure how, we got connected through a random series of events and just started talking more. That was really all it took, next thing I know I was using punctuation and exclamation points in my text messages, and I was fully in love. From then on it’s just been a journey of ups and downs and I am so excited for what comes next. Sarah’s Perspective: Sebastian and I met in 6th grade at Calvary Church. He always caught my eye, if anyone ever asked who I liked (as middle schoolers ask) I always said “this boy named Sebastian, you don’t know him.” I never thought anything would come of it because we lived far from each other. We would have small conversations once in a while, I always walked away giddy. He left Calvary so we didn’t see each other for awhile. In 2022 we reconnected through his mom inviting me to go to Joni and Friends with his family (along with a few other events) and the rest is history. I fell deeply in love with him and am falling more in love with him every day.
