We were just co-workers at first...

October 24, 2016 was my first day at KWTX News 10. I watched KWTX's newscasts in the days leading up to my interviews and first day and saw a dark-haired, hazel-eyed guy with glasses who was supered as "Sean Bellafiore." I thought his last name was nice. Anyway, I didn't know anyone when I started work and I was observing/training with a producer for a few weeks before jumping into things myself. Little did I know, the weatherman who I thought was kind of cute (I say kind of because he had a buzz cut then), was actually eyeing me too during my first days as a green producer. Sean told me after we started dating (and has told others) that as soon as he saw me in the newsroom, he swore he knew he was going to date me. Fast forward to the summer of 2017. Sean and I were just co-workers doing our thing. We launched a new newscast along with our co-worker Justin (who is one of my dearest friends) a few months before and life was pretty good, at least for me. I was getting really into the swing of things at work and maintained a fun social life outside of it. But that summer was sort of a rough one for Sean. He got his heart broken and channeled all of his energy into working out. The guy lost like 50 pounds. Wanting to perk him up and to get to know each other more, Justin invited Sean to hang out with us outside of work. So we went over to Justin's place and then ended up going to his apartment pool. Sean refused to wear the flip flops Justin offered. So Sean sat along the side of the pool, talking to us, in his long socks. Sean and I found out we'd both been in band in grade school and some of college and talked about other various things that I quite honestly can't remember. But I do remember him saying, "We've never really hung out before outside of work. We should more often." And so we did. Much has happened since then. We've grown immensely in love as best friends in the best way. And now we're ready to be husband & wife.
