Many of the memorials are very close to each other! Start at the west end of the National Mall and work your way east.
National Archives Museum
You just have to see the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution in person! Sean and I visited the Archives on the day we got engaged!

All of the Smithsonian Museums are free to the public. If you're looking to explore beyond the Mall, this is a great choice!
Georgetown Waterfront Park
Go shopping, hang out by the water, and grab some food. This neighborhood has everything!
The Wharf
One of Washington's newest developed neighborhoods and right on the water to boot! Enjoy a walk on the water and great food options.
Old Town
