FAQs

Question

Which day should I arrive?

Answer

There will be a Welcome Party on the evening of Friday, April 11 for any out-of-town guests flying in early (or locals who just want to party)!

Question

Why is the wedding in Salisbury, NC?

Answer

Salisbury is the new North Carolina home base! Sarah's parents moved there in May of 2023, and it's only 45 minutes from Clemmons (where Sarah grew up) and Winston-Salem (home of Wake Forest University). It's less than an hour's drive to Charlotte, Greensboro and Sarah's grandmother's house. Salisbury is conveniently located on I-85----and it's a neat town! More details on "things to do" to come!

Question

What do these dress codes mean?

Answer

Welcome Party is "Spring Cocktail" - so the vision is fun florals, tie optional, things that make you feel pretty but a bit more relaxed than Saturday's vibe. Ceremony and Reception is "Formal" - this article honestly explains it the best! https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire

Question

Do I have to stay at the hotel?

Answer

No, but there will be a trolley going to and from the hotel on Saturday for all events. If staying elsewhere, please be sure you have a safe ride home!

Question

Can I uber/lyft/ride share around Salisbury?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Salisbury is a bit too far outside of the big city to have rideshare drivers. If flying in, we recommend renting a car. We will have a trolley and a van/driver available on wedding day to help you get where you need to be!

Question

Is Sarah changing her name?

Answer

Sarah Meneses sounds nice! But no, she is not changing her name.
