Are kids allowed to attend? // Se permite la asistencia de niños?

Answer

After much discussion, we have decided to limit the kids at the wedding to just our immediate family who will be participating in the wedding -- our daughter and our nieces and nephews. We appreciate you understanding this and apologize for any inconveniences. Tras muchas conversaciones, hemos decidido limitar la asistencia de los niños a la boda a nuestra familia inmediata, que participará en ella: nuestra hija y nuestros sobrinos. Agradecemos su comprensión y les pedimos disculpas por cualquier inconveniente.

What is the attire for this wedding? // Cuál es el atuendo para la boda?

Answer

We don't have a specific attire set. Something to be mindful of is that September is a pretty hot time in the Dominican Republic. Although our reception will be in an air-conditioned space, the ceremony will be outside. No tenemos un atuendo específico. Es importante tener en cuenta que septiembre es una época bastante calurosa en República Dominicana. Aunque la recepción será en un espacio con aire acondicionado, la ceremonia será al aire libre.

We're traveling from the USA- what are our lodging and transportation options?

Answer

We are still finalizing this as we receive RSVPs to the wedding. Feel free to reach out to me personally once you begin planning and looking at flights and we can talk! In regards to transporation, I will arrange for a pickup at the airport to take you to where you will stay and will also arrange transporation to and from the wedding. And again, someone will transport to the airport upon your departure. I will update this when I have more info :)

I don't speak Spanish-- will I understand the ceremony?

Answer

Don't worry! We want to make sure that everyone feels a part of our big day, regardless of language. We have a sweet friend, Daneli, who will be translating the ceremony. In regards to the reception, we plan to have a bilingual MC so no one feels lost!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are blessed to have everything we need to begin our lives together! What we really want is a relaxing honeymoon to enjoy together. For this reason, we ask that in lieu of physical gifts that you make a contribution to our honeymoon fund! You can find that under the "Registry" tab.
