Sarah and Sadrin both attended St. Olaf College as biology majors. They often crossed paths before they officially met. They took classes together, went to the same events, and even went on the same club trip. Funny enough, Sadrin was an RA that helped Sarah move into her freshman dorm and even spoke with her dad. In his senior year, he lived just one floor above Sarah, while she was a sophomore. They didn’t fully connect until Yidi, Sarah’s roommate and now bridesmaid, invited them both to a gathering where they clicked instantly as friends. Sadrin graduated in 2024, and soon after, Sarah arranged a dinner gathering for her birthday. By the end of the night (and with Yidi's encouragement), they admitted their feelings. Their first official date was in Oct 2024, and they soon knew they would marry each other. Sadrin proposed in Nov 2025, in a gazebo in Northfield along the river. The rest is history!
