When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on our wedding website no later than Saturday, October 1st.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle to and from the Braeloch. The shuttle will depart from the Hampton Inn at 1:50pm and The Hotel Roanoke at 2:15pm. Towards the end of the evening, you’ll have an opportunity to take the shuttle back downtown at 9pm or 10pm when the reception ends. Don’t forget to join us for an after party! Roanoke also has Uber and Lyft services available. We want all our guests to have a fun and safe evening.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at the Braeloch. There will be signs indicating where to go as the property has multiple venues on site.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, so please plan to bring a coat if it is cold.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you don’t take pictures during the ceremony. We invite you to be fully present during our special moment. Please refrain from using cameras, cellphones, and any other device during our ceremony.

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet dinner and of course, dessert.
