Robby and Sarah met where almost everyone does these days, the internet! And while who swiped on who first is still up for debate depending on who you ask, the following story is one they can both agree on! It had been a couple of weeks since they “met” virtually and Robby decided it was time to ask Sarah out on a first date. There was only one problem, she was getting ready to set sail on a 5 day cruise and was catching a flight before Robby would be done at work. ‘What could be done’, Sarah wondered, thinking Robby would be like every other guy in the past who would just blow off the date since it wasn’t convenient. When to her surprise, Robby texted those three little words…(no, not I love you, that would have been weird) “Fresco at 9”. See they had been talking about this new snack spot with Mexican inspired dishes like fresas con crema and Robby raved about the spam and refried bean breakfast sandwiches, so it was the perfect venue. Knowing he was usually at work a lot earlier than 9, Sarah asked “Do you have the day off?” to which Robby replied, “No, I just told my boss I had to take a really early lunch because I had something extremely important to do.” He explained to Sarah that he couldn’t wait another week to meet her and that alone made her heart skip a beat. And that determination brought them to today… just don’t ask Sarah how those spam sandwiches were!
