This is one of Sarah’s favorite things to do, and there are a wide variety of incredible hikes available in the area, especially this time of year. Let us know if you are interested in hiking and we can give you a few recommendations. If you are in Beaver Creek, Overlook and Beaver Lake are great options for those looking for a little more of a challenge, or if in Edwards, a relaxing morning stroll along the river is also another great option. Minturn and Vail also offer great options of varying lengths and difficulty.
It is the beginning of “leaf peeping” season in Colorado. The colors should hopefully just be starting to change, so it is a wonderful time to take a drive on some of our beautiful side roads here in the Valley. Day trips to Minturn for the Farmer’s Market, Leadville for a unique mountain town experience, Glenwood and even Aspen are easily doable from Edwards. If you are interested in taking a drive and would like a recommendation, please let us know.
A fun local tradition - we will plan to be there on Sunday for anyone still in town, but for those of you leaving Sunday morning and looking for something to do on Saturday before the wedding, this is a great Vail tradition that is worth stopping by!
