FAQs

If your question isn't listed here, just reach out to us! Talking about and dreaming about our wedding is hands-down our favorite activity these days.
Question

When should I arrive and how long should I stay?

Answer

We want all of you -- our nearest & dearest -- to join our Welcome Party kick-off Friday evening. But if you can't make it, we will see you at the wedding on Saturday afternoon.

Question

What can we expect at the Welcome Party?

Answer

Good food (an array of Michlethwait BBQ's offerings) and drinks. It's going to be very casual. We are hoping to get a game of kickball or home run derby going on the field at The Long Time. There will be toasts around 6:30, but you're more than welcome to come and go at your leisure.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from The Long Time?

Answer

** UPDATE: Yes, there is! ** We will have two shuttles running between The Carpenter, The LINE, and The Long Time. The first one will depart at 4:30 and it will take about 25 minute to get to the fields east of downtown.

Question

What the heck is The Long Time anyway?

Answer

This Yeti-produced video gets at the heart of the space and the man behind it: https://stories.yeti.com/story/long-time

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. And be prepared to be outside. The ceremony and dinner will take place in the courtyard of the Allan House.

Question

What weather should we expect?

Answer

We're hoping for warm & sunny. Austin averages a high of 88 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 70 during the month of September.

Question

Will there be a vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes! And we -- and our caterers -- want to do our best to accommodate your food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please let us know these when you RSVP.
