Genin and Sarah met at Ballard High School during their freshman year. They met through a mutual friend, Abby, whom Sarah would come visit almost every morning in their AP Psychology class. Sarah was notorious for taking a few sips of Abby’s drink in the morning (be it coffee, an energy drink, etc.). Then, one thing led to another, and once they became closer, Sarah began to do the same to Genin’s drink. It then became a running joke that Sarah would always leave a lip mark on their cups, from her lip gloss/lipstick that she was wearing that day. Special Talent: Letting us know how the weather is down there.

Sarah and I met back in 2018, when both of us were in the car business—Sarah was working for Mercedes-Benz, and I was working for Volkswagen. Ironically, we met through my ex, who was Sarah’s coworker at the time. We immediately clicked when we discovered we both had white Volkswagen Jettas, are both car nuts, and shared a passion for culinary arts and cocktails! Our friendship has lasted through multiple relationships and eras of our lives. Sarah and Phil are two of my favorite people in the world, and I can’t wait to see them navigate life together for the rest of their lives! Special Talent: Can identify the make, model, and year of any, and EVERY, car on the spot.

Sarah and I go further back than anyone else in the party! My late mother, Barbara, was Sarah’s piano teacher in elementary school, so I knew her, but not very well. Then when Sarah was in high school, she started working at the preschool I worked at and we got closer because we already had that connection. As we got older though, I changed jobs and she went off to school out of state, so the connection fizzled out. Fast forward a few more years and my mother and I had heard about her sister passing away, so we took her out to dinner at Mojito Tapas! From that moment on, we've stayed super close! Jamie and Sarah met in January of 2022, when Sarah was hired on as a marketing intern for Belle Noble. It didn’t take but a couple of days for them to really hit it off; via oversharing, trauma-dumping, and sending dank memes to one another. But in all seriousness—fast-forward to now, and Jamie and Sarah make up the dream team that is the Belle Noble Marketing Department! In fact, Jamie is the main reason Sarah accepted a full-time position in the first place. Special Talent:

Isaiah and Sarah met in Mr. Lin’s Algebra 1 class at Ballard High School during their sophomore year. At the time, Sarah was horrendously bad at math, and Isaiah was (and still is) a mathematical genius. So, Special Talent:

Rose is Sarah’s one and only niece, who lives in Melbourne Beach, FL. Like a handful of the Zaricki family, there is a lot of musical talent that comes naturally to her. Sarah is extremely proud of the fact that Rose, as a junior in high school, is the Drum Major of the Melbourne High School marching band! Special Talent: Biggest band and chorus nerd EVER.

I grew up on Marla Ct. with Phil, went to Highland High school with Phil; even went to Miami University with Phil. Although 200 miles separates us now, at least I know he's in good hands with Sarah. Special Talent: Liar's Dice.

Phil's brother attended Eastern Kentucky University and Avans Hogeschool in the Netherlands, graduating in 2011. He had stints in Colorado and California before settling in the Louisville area in 2016 (coincidentally where Phil was also living), where he now works as a cable system technician. He married Katelyn Justice in the summer of 2022 at Keeneland. Special Talent: Making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
