Spanish borders are currently open for EU residents and a few other nationalities. The government is planning to fully open up for international tourism during the summer. However, there is no official date set for this yet. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed. Below are two useful links about the VISA process (please, note that this is consulate-specific, so you should contact your local Spanish consulate) and the COVID-related entry requirements (PCR tests, health forms, etc.). Flight
The airport is 15km from the the city center. Vigo has direct connections with Paris-CGD, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla , etc. We recommend booking well in advance.

Porto is well connected with major European and international cities (London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, Geneva, Istanbul, Casablanca, New York, etc.) Porto is 1 hour 30 minute-drive from Vigo, and buses/trains cover this route everyday (2h 15min by train). Porto is definitely worth a visit. For those planning to extend their visit and explore the area, it may be worth checking out flight connections to Lisbon. Lisbon is a must-see and is well connected with Porto and other Portuguese coastal cities.

Santiago de Compostela is connected to London, Paris, Geneva, Frankfurt and major Spanish cities. Daily trains and buses connect the city to Vigo (1h 15min). Santiago is a small city, famous for thousands of pilgrims coming from every corner of the world to complete the Way of St. James. The imposing cathedral, cobbled streets and delicious food, sweets and seafood are the essence of Galicia.
