Is the Ceremony and Reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! The Ceremony will take place outdoors. Dress warm! Cocktail hour will also be held outside. The reception will take place inside. Our venue has plenty of parking spaces.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and put on silent/turned off during our ceremony. So that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want, and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible! We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with all of you! As we want to keep the day as intimate as possible, we kindly ask that you please refrain from posting photos of us on social media until we make our first post. We’ll be sure to share plenty of memories with you after the event! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Can I take a centerpiece home?

Answer

Unfortunately, No you may not take a centerpiece home or any fresh flower arrangements. We are renting majority of our decor, including centerpieces. However, we will have other goodies for you to take home. All fresh flower arrangements will be donated to the Charlotte Hall Veterans home the following day.

Do you have any recommendations for transportation?

Answer

-Legacy Limo is a great option, especially if you’d prefer a driver to pick you up and take you home. Other transportation options include: -Enterprise Rent-A-Car -Lyft/Uber -Turo (for a more personalized car rental experience) If you’re flying in, be sure to check with your airport as both locations offer additional transportation options as well.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, we really do! However, we respectfully request no children on this night. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see all our family and friends dressed to impress for our big day! Please note that the official dress code for the event is semi-formal attire. For the ladies, we recommend tea-length, knee-length, or mid-length dresses. Floor length dresses are also welcomed since it will be cold. For the gentlemen, we recommend a suit and tie or blazer with dress pants. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing jeans or casual clothing, and we would also like to request that you refrain from wearing shades of orange, burgundy, or navy blue, as these colors are reserved for the wedding party.

No, you may not bring your fur babies.
