It was love at right swipe. Did he open up with a line about The Office and Parks & Rec? Yes. Did it work? Yep! Thanks Tinder! If you'd asked us how we would meet our soul mate we would have never guessed on the internet. But it turns out that was our destiny! And thank goodness for that :)

We knew early on that we wanted to spend our lives together, but Nick officially popped the question in Estes Park after a perfect weekend day walking around downtown, eating lunch by the river, and soaking in the Autumn mountains. We were there with Sarah’s family celebrating Claire and Sam’s 28th wedding anniversary (an annual family tradition) and it just felt right and perfect. When you know, you know!

Chaos. Absolute chaos. Emotional distress. High tensions. Confusion. Sarah's multiple sinus infections. A dash of rescheduling, a pinch of panicking, and a sprinkle of tears. It's OK though... we've got this! (our new daily mantra)

We did it! It was small and intimate, and after all of the changes and heartbreak in planning it ended up being absolutely perfect. <3
