The Far Hills Hunt races were a place everyone went to after college to use as an excuse to put some plaid on and tailgate... and hopefully find some horses that were racing. We both had bought tickets (Sarah's being a last minute decision) so we could go for a mutual friends birthday. There, we met at the same Westfield High School tailgate spot and hung and drank and realized that maybe this could be more than just "a thing".
We knew we wanted the whole family to be there to celebrate with. This was harder than we thought being that both Rachel and (brother) Nick lived in Jacksonville and D.C. It was Easter weekend and Nick popped the question looking out on the Shark River with both of our families waiting to celebrate. We spent the remainder of the weekend celebrating with family and friends!
After many stressful months of tackling quarantine together, we made the difficult decision to move our reception date to a time in which our guests could enjoy each other's company safely. We were married in the backyard of Sarah's parents house (where we got engaged!) with our close family on our original wedding day. We felt the love from near and far and are SO looking forward to celebrating our love soon with everyone!
