Both resorts are in the same gated compound and merge into each other - there are no barriers between them. There are many walkable paths between them as well as shuttles that make multiple stops and circulate frequently. As for booking, each resort has its benefits and is priced differently, so it's up to you! The Casitas are blocks of rooms that surround a single pool. Our room block contains an entire section of Casitas, and so if we fully book those, we'll be able to take complete ownership of a pool! The Royale rooms are furthest from the events, but come at a more attractive price point.
We encourage all guests to stay at either of the two resorts. If you choose to stay elsewhere, there is a daily resort fee for access to the resort grounds.
We encourage you to double check with your concierge once you arrive at the resort, but most restaurants allow for casual wear during the day time (though no gym tank tops for men, or bikini tops for women). Some of the nicer restaurants may require reservations and also have a more formal dress code (think capris, button downs and no flip flops).
Absolutely! There are a ton of activities that the resorts host including pool parties, tequila tastings, archery and rifle shooting, 5K run, bike tour, Zumba class, beach and pool volleyball, water aerobics, and more! Download the app provided to you by the concierge for more information and their schedule. There are also excursions that can be purchased at an extra cost through agents at the resort which include scuba-diving, exploring ruins and cenotes, and more.
