Our story began on a Sunday afternoon in the LDS Stanford first ward in Palo Alto California. Nathan sat next to a beautiful, shy, little blonde named Sarah. He was immediately interested in her bright demeanor and quick wit. Nathan was so smooth and handsome as he talked to Sarah; she had to pick her jaw up off the floor just to tell him her name. We had our second encounter the next day, Sarah beat Nathan at a lego building speed competition. That is when things got very serious (for Nathan at least, as lego building has always been high on his list of attractive qualities). A few dates later, COVID set in and Nathan and Sarah’s relationship blossomed during quarantine. After exciting visits to both Colorado and Maine, the young lovers felt optimistic about their future. Nathan asked Sarah to marry him on October 30th, 2020. (She screamed "YES!") Sarah and Nathan are incredibly excited to start their lives together. After their marriage, the couple will live together in Mountain View, California.

We have been married for 2 months (three months when we will party in August in Maine!) and it has been a dream. We have fit into each other's lives and our postage stamp apartment so cozily... and even added a cat! Nathan and I are so grateful for the love and support that we have received before, during and after our nuptials and celebration in May. Since our wedding we honeymooned in Mexico, have been paddle boarding nearly every weekend, read several new books, and kept our struggling little pot garden alive! We have been harvesting tomatoes and basil for Caprese salads (Nathan's favorite) nearly every day. For now we are living and working in the San Francisco Bay area but we have our sights set on the horizon for the next step of our adventure. We hope so much that we will be able to move closer to our families and places that we love. Stay tuned for where we land!
