Friday Morning - Whitewater Rafting
Group activity - book with Adriana Whitewater rafting with a local guide. This is a good balance of excitement and relaxation. We have done a similar trip and it was a great opportunity to see wildlife including Toucans and Sloths! Water shoes required.
Friday Afternoon - Traditional Coffee and Chocolate Tour
Group activity - book with Adriana See and experience the traditional coffee and cacao roasting process. During a similar tour, we enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the traditional agriculture that shaped the culture and history of the country.
Saturday Morning - Birdwatching
Group activity - book with Adriana This is a guided hike through the Mistico Park. We were impressed with the deep knowledge of the tour guide and the incredible diversity of wildlife, both plants and animals. Closed-toed shoes required.
Sunday Afternoon - Horseback Riding
Group activity - book with Adriana We found horseback riding to be a wonderful way to engage with the hilly Costa Rican landscape.
La Fortuna Waterfall
While the waterfall is visible from the observation deck, it is a couple of hundred steps down to the waterfall itsself. There is a fee to get into the waterfall area, and a restaurant inside the gates.
Hot Springs at Ecotermales Fortuna
Best relaxing hot springs! Great option for the day after the wedding (also at these hot springs).
