Maymont Park
Maymont, spanning 100 acres, is a park and Victorian estate. It is a popular tourist spot that features a historical mansion, numerous gardens, and animal centers. It offers you an arboretum, historic buildings, a farm, a wildlife habitat, and so much more. This vast park also features Maymont Mansion, a magnificent Victorian mansion constructed in 1893, and three themed gardens, Italian, Japanese, and a Specialty Garden.
Belle Isle
Found within Richmond City is a small island spanning about 54 acres named Belle Isle. This island rests on the James River. At Belle Isle, you and your tribe can enjoy fun activities in nature, like hiking through the scenic trails, swimming or kayaking in the cool waters of the river, sunbathing on the smooth rocks, rock climbing, exploring the ruins on the island, biking, and picnicking atop boulders.
Hollywood Cemetery
Hollywood Cemetery is a large cemetery and a tourist spot in its own right. Featuring rolling hills and views of the James River, this cemetery offers varying tour packages. The Hollywood Cemetery is easily one of the most famous cemeteries in Virginia. It is the resting place of James Monroe and John Tyler, the 5th and 10th presidents of the United States. The magnificent towering trees and many flowers make it a beautiful garden cemetery. Aside from visiting the tombs of the former presidents and taking a peaceful stroll with your significant other or family members, you can also sign up for unique guided tours where you can walk, or ride a segway, trolleys, electric cars, or cars, around the cemetery.
Altria Theater
The Altria Theater, previously known as The Mosque and the Landmark Theater, can accommodate over 3,500 people and is the best place to watch live performances. Spend the day indoors at the Altria Theater and prepare for an entertaining experience. In this theater, you have many choices presented to you. Some of the shows played here range from comedy shows, broadway shows, musicals, concerts, motion picture screenings, and more.
Libby Hill Park
Located at 28th and E. Franklin Streets, Libby Hill Park is one of the three original parks in Richmond's park system. It was originally called Marshall Square, and the view from Libby Hill Park is said to so closely resemble the view of Richmond on the Thames in England that it gave the city its name. In addition to its magnificent view, the park has an ornamental fountain, a small park house, and a monument erected in 1894 for Confederate soldiers and sailors. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.

Carytown
