The day Mitch proposed! October 27, 2021.
We closed on our first home together that afternoon and had planned to have our parents meet us there to celebrate! Little did I know, Mitch had plans of his own.  As soon as we walked into the front door I knew something was up because my usually calm and collected boyfriend was suddenly very antsy! He proposed in our living room and had our parents waiting upstairs to surprise me! It was no surprise that he spared no detail in making the entire evening incredibly thoughtful as he had also invited lots of our family and close friends to celebrate with us as well.  We spent the evening laughing and receiving lots of well wishes and marriage advice from those we hold dearest. He also managed to have Eischens chicken delivered for dinner...he knows this Okarche girl well!
