Some recommendations are a bit further but worth exploring if you're in town for a couple days :)

Great place to grab a drink or snack. Just down the street from the venue.

Ashley's - Ann Arbor

The best espresso! It's also in Nickel's Arcade which is fun to walk through. Also down the street from the venue.

Comet Coffee (Nickel's Arcade)

Walk through Nickel's Arcade from State Street and it'll be on your right when you exit the arcade. Lots of beer, cocktails, and great fries.

Very close to the venue!

HopCat

1/4 mile from the venue on South University. This is a classic college pub. The Brown Jug is where we had our first date back in 2010!

Brown Jug Restaurant

Large open space for walking or hanging out in the middle of University of Michigan's campus.

The Diag

A nice spot to walk around. Across the street from the venue.

This was a regular stop for us when we both lived downtown. Good food and drinks!

This place is an Ann Arbor staple. Amazing sandwiches!
