Meet Us In Ithaca

Sarah and Mike matched on Bumble in September 2017 while Sarah was starting her senior year at Cornell and Mike was a grad student. They shared a very long first date at Rulloff’s and started dating. When Sarah moved to Brooklyn to start her teaching career the next summer, they decided to give long distance a try. The following four years were filled with long distance weekends, summers, and a quarantine spent between Ithaca and Brooklyn. In July of 2022, Sarah finally convinced Mike to move to the City and they moved in together. They soon adopted their dog Rulloff, named after their first date spot. In April 2025, Mike proposed to Sarah in Domino Park, a favorite spot of theirs, surrounded by their family and close friends. They are so excited to share their wedding at the Ithaca Farmers Market, their absolute favorite destination during all those long distance weekend trips!
