Hotel
We encourage our guests to stay in Solvang, a quaint Danish-style village that feels totally strange in the middle of California's wine country. Unlike Los Alamos, which is a tiny Old West pitstop of a town you could easily imagine a tumbleweed rolling through, Solvang has many hotel options as well as restaurants, bars, and coffeeshops -- all in close proximity. It's highly walkable! Solvang is only a 15-20 minute drive to Los Alamos. Fun facts: the Hadsten is a newly remodeled Hilton property. Their restaurant is open from 7am. Fitness center on site. **The wedding day shuttle will be picking up / dropping off at this hotel. More details to come!**
Hotel
Another great option, right across the street from the Hadsten! Fun facts: the Vinland has a pool + hot tub :) Breakfast not included. Restaurant + bar open at 4pm.

Right next door to the famous 100-year-old Pea Soup Andersen's restaurant (which appears to be temporarily closed but in its heyday served classic diner fare and, naturally, legendary split pea soup), this inn is a great budget-conscious option in Buellton. Fun facts: Complimentary breakfast. Pool and hot tub. 5 minutes by car to Solvang; 15 minutes by car to Los Alamos.
Travel Note
Those who "aren't here to make friends" (/ don't want to do the group hotel thang) will be thrilled to know that Airbnbs abound in the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos region!
