Sarah Coulson

Bride

Sarah is the daughter of Linda and Dale Coulson, and the second oldest (by 20 minutes) of 5 children. Although she didn’t know it at the time, her years of being an older sister would endow her with the endless patience she would need to tirelessly endure Mickey’s "Little Brother Energy." Growing up in rural Tennessee with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, cats, dogs, fish, Guinea pigs, and donkeys, Sarah is a life long animal lover and especially dotes on her two cats, Ozi and Thea. Although her soccer and gymnastics days may be behind her, Sarah still enjoys competitive sports and is always up for a game of volleyball. She likes mornings spent walking and listening to audiobooks, or painting and drinking coffee. Every now and then she relearns the same few chords on the guitar, then takes a break just long enough to forget them again. One of Sarah’s very favorite things to do with Mickey is go hiking, camping, and/or backpacking. She has LOVED experiencing the beautiful parks that California has to offer. Sarah graduated in 2019 from The University of Kentucky with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and is currently a Process Engineer with Eastman Chemical in Palo Alto, California. Sarah simply cannot wait to marry Mickey, and can’t thank you enough for being a part of their day.

Mickey Creighton

Groom

Born to Joe and Teri Creighton, Mickey is the youngest of 4 children and grew up in the town of Snellville, Georgia in metro-Atlanta. He grew up with a great interest in carpentry and often could be found at his dad’s side working on various projects both at home and beyond. In addition to a love for building and designing, his parents also encouraged a love for sport. Mickey grew up playing all sorts of games with his siblings in the backyard, kids at the neighborhood pool, and various sports teams. Mickey would go on to graduate from Brookwood High School in 2014 having made lifelong friends with the guys he played football and baseball with. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Clemson University in 2019 and again would make friends for life while doing so. He has since moved to Tennessee, met Sarah, made more lifelong friends in Tennessee, got his private pilot’s license, and has temporarily settled in Silicon Valley. Mickey is laid back, up for anything, and can’t wait for whatever adventure awaits!

Rebecca Coulson

Maid of Honor

Rebecca met Sarah shortly after birth. They grew up as most siblings do... filled with spite. After years of bickering and hand-me-down clothes, Sarah left for college. Soon after, Rebecca started to understand how much Sarah meant to her. Even though Rebecca would never admit it, she kind of missed Sarah. A few years and some free-housing later, Sarah and Rebecca are not just sisters, but best friends. Rebecca is very honored to be part of the day.

Luke Christison

Best Man

Luke and Mickey met during their freshman year at Clemson, where they lived across the hall from one another in their dorm. Luke was not charmed by Mickey initially, but was eventually worn down by his persistent and relentless advances. Luke taught Mickey how to hate the Gamecocks while Mickey taught Luke how to hate the Bulldogs. Nearly eight years and countless adventures later, here we are. Luke will also gladly take credit for matchmaking Mickey and Sarah... nbd.

Sarah and I met junior year of college at a ChemE trivia night over our love of amaretto sours. Little did we know we would grow extremely close as lab partners during senior year. By staying up until 6am working on reports together, to NYE parties, to lakeside volleyball games, to visiting each other after college, we have created lots of memories and shared laughter to keep our friendship strong. I’m so honored to be next to her on her big day and celebrating another momentous occasion together. Love you Sarah!

Josh Brown is a funny, charming, loving, caring, smart, handsome, strong, capable, responsible, sexy, awesome, and above all else the most humble person who is able to write his own bio so Mickey could focus on other aspects of the wedding. Enjoys flying and ruining kids days on Xbox.

I met Sarah when Mickey invited this cool girl he met at a workshop to go axe throwing with our church group. I immediately saw the chemistry but had to wait patiently for months until they were both ready to admit it! Once Sarah and Mickey started dating, my husband Mark and I paired up with them and we quickly became couple-friends. We enjoyed double-date night every month and watched Mickey and Sarah come together and begin to truly share their lives. When my son was born, Mickey and Sarah were there in the hospital, bringing us chili and sharing in the joy of new life. When they moved to California, we were so sad. We are looking forward to celebrating their marriage, and we eagerly await their return to somewhere within driving distance.

Father, Husband, Man. Met Mickey through a Bible study group. I have accidentally matched Mickey's outfit on more than one occasion. Veteran, gun enthusiast, Eagle Scout, small business owner, red-blooded patriot. Regularly seen holding a coffee cup in inappropriate situations. Future tee-ball coach. Been known to regularly carry a pocket sized copy of the United States Constitution. Future father of one of Mickey's many Godsons.

By far Mickey’s coolest and most athletic friend, Matt Price holds a special place within Mickey’s heart. Although their personalities can seem vastly different at times, nothing brings these two together more than quality time sharing ship toasts. When he’s not traveling across the country to visit Mickey, Matt appreciates the simple things in life such as fine wine, gourmet dining experiences, Caribbean sunsets, and bottomless mimosas in any setting.

Katie is thrilled to welcome a third sister to the family. To think she started out with none! (Unless you count that brief period she forced her little brothers to dress up as sisters). Sarah is a perfect family fit, and Katie is excited to build their lifelong relationship

Eric is Mickey's wiser and much better looking older brother. Despite Eric's illustrious record, he was unable to rub off any of his greatness onto Mickey. As Mickey starts his new family, he will have the most perfect model to emulate. Eric is developing the Creighton legacy with his 2 upstanding, model children, Oliver and Zoe, with his exemplary wife, Tizza. In Eric's free time he also enjoys solving world crises and developing perfectly renewable fusion energy.

Mark Creighton is the stronger, kinder, funnier, better looking brother of Mickey. Mark is humbled to be the brother Mickey looks up to and admires. Mickey has patterned his life after his brother idol, and is incredibly thankful to have at least one brother to show him the way. Mark may not be the best man, but he is by leaps and bounds the best brother.
