We'd love for everyone to get dressed up for the big day. Dress in your best formal attire. Summer colours are encouraged. Please no jeans or shades of white. If you are not part of the bridal/groom party and you wish to wear a kilt please double check with us before doing so as we would love for there to be a special distinction.
Due to limited spaces/plated courses we are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited. If you receive a plus one on your invitation they will appear under your name.
There is limited parking at our wedding venue so if you are able, please opt for a taxi or ride share. The venue is around 2 miles from Dunbar train station.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures that we can share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like.
At the beginning of the drinks reception everyone will be given a free glass of prosecco. For the meal everyone will receive two drinks tokens to be used on bottled beer or house spirits. Another glass of prosecco will be supplied for the wedding toast. There are several bars on site as well as a cocktail cart for you to buy any additional drinks at!
Our ceremony will be indoors. During the drinks reception the courtyard will be opened up so we can enjoy the sun (hopefully!). The wedding meal will be indoors too and if the weather keeps up then the courtyard may open up for the rest of the evening to make the best of our limited summer weather.
We kindly ask that instead of wedding gifts you donate to our honeymoon fund. A letterbox will be available throughout the day for you to drop off any cards/donations.
