We’re getting married!

Sometimes, the best love stories start with a simple connection — in our case, a friend suggestion on Facebook. Even though Matt and I grew up a mile away from each other, walked the same school halls, and even had moms who already knew each other, our paths somehow never crossed... until fate (and social media) stepped in. We started talking on the phone and instantly clicked. It felt like we'd known each other for years. Our first date was nothing short of perfect: a dinner spent in laughter followed by a drive to some of Matt's favorite Christmas light displays. It was a fun, cozy night! Since that night, we've stood by each other through life’s ups and downs, growing stronger with every step. Last August, four years after our unforgettable first date, Matt asked me to spend forever with him — and I said yes!
