Matron of Honor
Sarah and I first became friends in High School. She was the girl everyone knew for her extreme athletic ability, dedication to sports and academics, and the biggest heart that was a friend to everyone. In other words, the type of person you look up to. Sarah is that grounded person, but still enjoys a good time and adventure. Sarah and I spent many days at the lake together, hiking trips, skiing trips, riding horses, running cross country, and track. Anything outdoors, we were there. After high school, we went our separate ways to different colleges. I quickly realized the value of a steady friend, and I found my way to Texas A&M largely because of her positive influence on my life. Through college, we ran 5ks, tailgated, had friendsgivngs, and occasionally studied together (her probably more than me). Nonetheless, our friendship remained strong and carried us through graduations, lasting even after we were separated by 200+ miles of distance. In my adult life, Sarah and I have leaned on each other for advice, positivity, and an ear to listen. When Sarah first told me about Matt, I thought to myself that their friendship was special and likely more than Sarah led on. It was instantly evident that the two of them balanced each other out. With Sarah’s adventurous and independent self, I knew it would take a man just like Matt to join the ride. I am so happy Sarah found her person to do life with. I could not be more honored to stand beside her on their wedding day.

I met Sarah when she came to the PT clinic I was working at (in Fairfield, TX, of all places) for a clinical rotation of her own. She was a high energy 2nd year student who loved to fish, workout, and eat good food, which reminded myself so much of where I was at just 2 years prior. We went to the same PT school, same gym, and had some of the same Abilene buddies, just at different times. Safe to say she was “my people” from the start! We quickly became workout buddies, and then soon travel buddies and weekend warriors. Sarah has become a friend that I can “come as I am” around. We can have a blast checking out the Guadalupe for some trout fishing, and also be filled up with good conversation over a cup of coffee. She as genuine, intentional, and fun as they come. What a wife!! What a life. Matt and Sarah are two people that you know will honor, strength, and level up each other’s lives just simply because of who they are. I could not be more grateful to have had a front row seat at their union. You can read on this website how beautiful their journey has been so far. And still, the best is yet to come.

Sarah and I have such a sweet, unique friendship that I’m so thankful for. I have had the honor of first hearing about Sarah through Matt, whom is my brother in law. Sarah was “just a friend” but would come to all the family events and be in all the pictures (“friends”- yeah right!). From there it blossomed into her becoming my outlet, antique, and creative partner at all family events (with 30+ people you need a friend and Sarah quickly became mine). So excited to stand by her and forever cheer her and Matt on. Love you big time sister sister! P.s. the best man is hot

I first met Sarah at Texas A&M, but I really got to know her during physical therapy school at Hardin-Simmons. While working on our doctorates, our class took a personality test—Sarah and I were the only ones who tested “orange,” meaning we thrive on adventure, activity, and freedom. Ironically, PT school is the opposite of all those things, so you could usually find us inventing ridiculous ways to study anatomy, taking exercise breaks, and derailing study groups. After graduation, Sarah stayed in Abilene while I moved to Austin, but we kept in touch through frequent calls—talking through patient cases, our faith, and planning races. We even completed the Hotter Than Hell 100-mile bike ride together, which remains one of the most uncomfortable days of my life. Sarah has a gift for pulling people into adventure—things may not go as planned, but they’re always fun. Then Sarah met Matt, and in true Sarah fashion, their story didn’t start conventionally. But from the beginning, they were off on adventures together. It was clear Matt was different—he’s steady, patient, and brings a sense of peace that perfectly balances Sarah’s adventurous spirit. I’m so excited to see what God has in store for them—and even more excited they’ll be in Fort Worth so we get to witness it. With Sarah bringing the adventure and Matt the steady, their life together is going to be an incredible ride—and we’re lucky to be part of it.

Sarah and I met when I officially became part of the Latham family, and from day one she felt less like an in-law and more like my little sister. I’ve had the joy of watching her grow through so many milestones—college, PT school, clinicals, endless nights studying for her boards, first job, first home, becoming an aunt, and of course Mae and June. The time living together were some of my absolute favorite memories, though. Sarah cooked dinner almost every night and patiently passed along her kitchen skills—homemade biscuits, fried backstrap, blackberry cobbler, and meals that somehow tasted even better because they were made with love (and a little chaos). Between the food, the laughter, and the everyday moments, she became one of my greatest constants. Through every high and low, Sarah has stood by me, and now I’m honored to stand by her as she begins this beautiful new chapter. I couldn’t be happier to celebrate her and the incredible man who captured her heart.

Sarah and Lindsey first crossed paths in the fall of 2022. Lindsey’s husband was stationed at Dyess AFB in Abilene and worked side by side with Sarah in the PT clinic on base. Between game nights, grabbing dinner, strolling through vendor markets, listening to live music around town, “wanna check out (fill in the blank) today?” texts on the weekends, and just sitting around hanging out- Lindsey and Sarah’s friendship grew into one that they both will cherish for a lifetime. One of the best parts of their relationship is that they can go from serious, deep life talks one minute to laughing until their faces hurt the next minute. Lindsey will never forget her first memory of Sarah and Matt together at a “It Just A Phase” themed night at a local brewery. Despite the black skinny jeans, goth outfits, and nose rings, it was evident there was something special growing between them (even if it took them years to figure out for themselves!). Lindsey is so excited to stand next to Sarah as she starts her adventure of a lifetime- marriage to Matt.

Best Man
As Matt’s brother and best man, I’ve known him my whole life, which means I’ve seen a lot of seasons in his life, but meeting Sarah is easily the best one. I still remember the first time I met her at Torchy’s Tacos, and it didn’t take long to see why Matt was so sure about her. They tried to convince everyone they were “just friends,” but everyone could see there was as more to the friendship and hoped it would grow to more. From camping trips to early mornings fishing, it’s clear they’ve built their relationship on adventure, faith, and trusting each other with everything they have. And somehow, no matter where they are or how long they fish, Sarah always manages to catch the bigger fish, which Matt denies, but the pictures say otherwise. Watching them together, you can see how perfectly God aligned their hearts. They bring out the best in each other, keep each other grounded, and choose each other every day. Their relationship is a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect and His plans are better than anything we could come up with on our own. I’m honored to stand beside them on their wedding day and can’t wait to see where God leads them next!
Groomsman
As Matt's oldest brother, and not best man. I’ve had the joy of watching him grow from a little kid who was often my personal punching bag into the incredible man he is today. We all had our share of sibling squabbles, and I’ll admit, I might have taken a few jabs at him in those early years. But through it all, he’s developed into someone I admire greatly. I couldn’t be prouder of how far he has come, especially with finding someone as amazing as Sarah. Their relationship is a perfect match that showcases the best of both of them. I can't wait to watch the beautiful life they’ll create together.

I met Matt at one of the many family gatherings hosted at the Perrys’ house. It wasn’t until 2009, when we moved three houses down the street from Matt, that we really started hanging out. Whether it was hunting at the ranch, fishing countless evenings at the golf course ponds, or staying up late playing video games, Matt has always felt like part of my family.

The year was ‘08 when my family and I moved within eyesight of the Perry household. It didn’t take long for the three amigos (myself, Matt, and yes you guessed it, the groomsman listed above me.. Zach) to unite. Fishing, food, video games, and hunting. Sometimes in that order. The memories I have with Matt are numerous, and I’m so grateful for him and his family.

I first met matt in 2022 when we moved to Abilene at a Crawfish boil. We ended up hanging out and going out after to a local bar. Over the next 4 years we spent time golfing, doing some hunting, playing poker, installed a few blinds, and drank our fair share of whiskey.

I met Matt soon after Sarah began being "friends" with him. I instantly noticed the way he treated her with patience, consistency, and integrity, it didn't take very long for me to realize Matt was the future husband I had been praying for all along for my sister. He was the perfect match for her. He and I hit it off right off the bat and quickly became buddies. He instantly fit right in with my whole family and in 2024 he fell just as naturally into his role as "Uncle Matt" to our newborn Judah. Back in the beginning, Sarah took a little while to admit that she was actually dating her "friend" but I had already caught on the weekend they came pulling into my parents drive from Abilene and Matt was driving while Sarah was sleeping in the passenger seat. (This was a big deal, anyone who knows Sarah knows that she is slightly independent and I had never seen her let a guy drive her vehicle before.) Sarah finally began letting her guard down and admitted what we all already knew; Matt was more than a "friend" and we couldn't have been happier about it. Matt was a Godsend and I am thankful to have him in our family. I am looking forward to a lifetime of making memories with him and Sarah, I couldn't find a better brother-in-law if I tried.

Conor met Matt when Sarah and Matt began dating, and they instantly clicked as buddies. Conor and his wife Kayshel were neighbors with Sarah in Abilene and the double dates, church outings, and garage work-outs were on! Kayshel and Conor recognized Matt as “one of the good ones” and were rooting for Sarah and Matt to go all the way from the very beginning. Prayers were answered when Matt popped the question and Sarah said yes!
