After graduating college in the height of covid, Sarah and Matt decided to test their luck and download Hinge, the app that's meant to be deleted. Only a couple weeks later, Sarah came across Matt's profile. The first thing she noticed was his height, 6' 5", then his frat boy-like photo. She thought "no way", and moved on. The next day, Hinge decided they were meant to be and showed Sarah his profile again, stating "based on your actions on this app, we think you two would be compatible". Why not? She swiped right. From the first message Matt sent, they never stopped talking. Now after 5 years together, they are tying the knot! Never doubt dating apps.

It was a beautiful Tuesday evening. Matt told Sarah he was taking her to meet up with his father for a fancy sushi dinner. On the way to the restaurant, Matt faked a text from his father stating he had to cancel so it would just be the two of them. Once they arrived, Sarah was quite suspicious because Matt took her to the Chart House, which those who know, know it is not a sushi restaurant. After they were seated and wine was served, Matt began sliding out of the half-circle booth and struggled to remove the ring box from his inner-jacket pocket. Once he got down on one knee, Sarah immediately started cackling from nervousness which quickly turned to tears as Matt began his speech. Without a doubt, Sarah said yes. The restaurant cheered and clapped as Matt's sister, Brandy, jumped out from hiding and snapped all the pictures. They ended the night with Sarah's favorite treat, Dairy Queen.
