Smorgasburg Jersey City
Smorgasburg is one of the largest weekly open-air food markets in America, attracting thousands of people each year who come to eat from dozens of local vendors. Feel free to try all the different options but make sure to not fill up too much before the wedding! If you're looking to grab a drink after, check out the Smorgasbar beer garden right across the street!
Liberty Science Center
The Liberty Science Center is a great activity for those traveling with kids. With tons of interactive exhibits and an iMax Theater where both Sarah and Matt spent more field trips then they can count, this is a day trip that is sure to entertain science fans of all ages!
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Go back to your roots with a trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. To get to Liberty and Ellis Islands, visitors must take a ferry from either Battery Park in Manhattan or Liberty State Park in New Jersey. Statue Cruises operates the ferry service.
The Oculus
Take the PATH train to New York City and check out the architecture and shops at the Oculus. The World Trade Center transportation hub is also home to 12 subway lines to get you to many other NYC neighborhoods.
Razza
In reference to Razza, New York Times food critic Pete Wells said that the best pizza in New York is in New Jersey. Outdoor seating is first-come, first serve at this small restaurant, so order a pie to go and grab a seat!
Ample Hills Creamery
Sarah and Matt's favorite ice cream shop. Sarah's favorite flavor is The Munchies, and Matt's is Maple Bourbon Barrel- but you can't go wrong!

Good for a quick breakfast- a 10 minute walk from our preferred hotels.
