The couple first met when Sarah went to her local bank for assistance, and Matt happened to be the first person available to help her. She had met his sister in school years before, and recognized her in a family picture that he had on his desk. This gave her the excuse to engage in some friendly small talk, and about a week later she decided to reach out to him to see if he was interested in hanging out some more to continue their conversation. They met up not long after, and spent the time together talking for hours, both walking away from the evening wanting to continue exploring where things could go. The rest as they say is history, and they are thrilled to invite you to join them as they continue writing and creating that history together.

It happened in the fall of 2017, when Matt and Sarah traveled to beautiful Duluth, MN for a long overdue getaway weekend. They enjoyed the shops of Canal Park, sampled the local brewery and popular dining establishments, and traversed the Skyline Parkway overlooking the port city. It was on this drive after stopping at Enger Tower, the final stop of the trip before making the journey home, that Matt asked Sarah to become his wife and to start the next chapter of their lives together. In typical Matt fashion he made Sarah wait until the end of the trip to make his move, but the end result is one they both feel is perfect in every way.
