Question

What are Welcome Drinks?

Answer

Welcome drinks are a relaxed chance for guests to mingle with the bride and groom and other guest before the wedding day! There’s no need to RSVP, and you’re welcome to come and go as you please—just drop by and enjoy a casual drink with us.

Question

Can I Bring My Children?

Answer

Children are warmly welcomed at the ceremony! For the reception, we request that it be an adults-only affair. While we absolutely love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate them at this part of the celebration. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We kindly request that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie, and women wear an evening gown or a floor-length dress. Additionally, out of respect for the sacred nature of the church, please refrain from wearing overly-revealing clothing.

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

Our church and wedding venue are in a downtown area and both walkable from each other! Our venue has provided us with free onsite parking (340 E Patrick St Unit A, Frederick, MD 21701). For those able, we recommend parking at the venue and walking to the church.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests arrive no later than fifteen minutes before the ceremony begins. This will allow you time to find a seat and enjoy the beautiful music of our string quartet.

Question

What Should I Expect At The Ceremony

Answer

Our ceremony will be celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony. We encourage our guest, both Catholic and not, to fully participate. Worship guides will be made available prior to the service for those unfamiliar. More information can be found here: https://www.foryourmarriage.org/rite-for-celebrating-marriage-outside-of-mass/

Question

Will the DJ Take Request?

Answer

We have the privilege of working with a live mixing DJ during our reception! While they’ll do their best to play music everyone will enjoy, they will not be able to take request. We kindly ask that regardless of what’s playing, you to hit the dance floor and enjoy yourself!

Question

Will Alcohol Be Served?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar for all adult guest to enjoy. However, non alcoholic option will also be avalaible.
