What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please be sure to arrive at 3:00 o'clock! The Wedding Ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 3:30pm. Please allow yourself enough time to secure the Uber or drive and get situated on site. There is plenty of parking at the venue.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Formal attire. What does that mean? Please dress to impress! Ladies- the grounds at The Swanner House are well maintained, but it is an outdoor ceremony/reception with grass and gravel, therefore block heels or low wedges may be more comfortable to enjoy yourself. Gentlemen- no jeans unless they are dark, starched and creased with boots. Ladies and gentlemen, cowboy boots are welcome. Please keep in mind to pack a warm coat, if necessary. Lastly, The Silva Wedding colors are gold, eucalyptus/olive green, and ivory.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Under the travel tab, we have a list of local accommodations we think would be great locations at budget friendly prices. Additionally, we have secured 15 rooms at the Hilton Dana Point at a discounted rate. **Copy and paste the link provided in the travel tab located under The Hilton Garden Doheny Beach listing into your browser to book a discounted room.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We do not have group transportation, but we have selected hotels close to the venue for easy Ubering or Lyft rides.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, plenty of parking onsite! There will also be security provided walking the grounds throughout the event.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We absolutely love your kiddos, we kindly request an adults only celebration. We truly wish we could include everyone, but due to limitations and keeping the guest list intimate, we hope this can be a special night out just for the grown-ups!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We don't have anything planned other than the Ceremony and Reception located at The Swanner House for everyone to come together and enjoy the wedding celebration!
