We had been in Disney all week - I honestly had no clue this was coming. On our last night in Magic Kingdom, after the fireworks ended, my step-father said he wanted to go in front of the castle to take a family picture! Rebekah and I were like “why are we fighting the crowd to go to the front for a picture?!” But we did it anyways. When we got to the front, I turned around to find someone to ask if they could take our photo, and when I turned back around Landon Floyd was on his knee asking me to marry him. 🥺 Right in the front of the castle, center of the star. Right after the fireworks. With 50th Mickey ears. Of course I said yes! My step-dad took a not so great video, so the only pictures I have to share are the screenshots from the video! Landon later told me that my ring was ordered a few weeks prior to this trip. But he said he couldn’t wait any longer for it to come in, so he proposed with 50th annual Mickey Ears! Before we left for the trip he had asked for my Pawpaw's permission, and moments before the proposal, he asked for my step-dads permission. After the proposal, we had dinner at Be Our Guest Castle at Magic Kingdom. When dinner was over, the park was basically empty because it was already closed to everyone except certain guests for an event… so it was super empty and it was awesome to be in Magic Kingdom and see the castle with basically just us! We stopped by Main Street Jewelers in downtown Disney and bought a filler ring for me to wear until mine arrived! But the ears were honestly the perfect “ring” for the occasion, and the filler ring is so stinking beautiful. Of course I have my "real ring" now, but I still wear my filler ring daily. Disney is a magical place. It was a magical evening. Everything was literally perfect and I was so caught off guard. I mean, who doesn’t dream of getting engaged at the most magical place on earth?! Landon Floyd makes all of my dreams come true and I can't wait to MARRY HIM!
