We met at Grand Canyon University in General Chemistry lab, where we were seated across from each other on the very first day. Not long after, we became lab partners and quickly realized how much we enjoyed being around one another. What started as a friendship grew through countless hours of studying together, meals on campus, and finding any excuse to spend more time together. Through it all, we became best friends, and before we knew it, we had fallen in love.

Knowing how much I had always dreamed of visiting Charleston, Lance planned the most perfect proposal during our trip there. He took me to Folly Beach at sunset, where he had secretly arranged a beautiful setup on the beach with red roses and the most amazing view. There, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him—and of course, I said yes!
