FAQs

If you have any questions that are not answered here or elsewhere on our invitations or wedding website, you may feel free to contact us via our wedding-specific email at flrowedding@gmail.com at any time.
Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know at your earliest convenience and RSVP “no” or email us so we can plan accordingly. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the venue is at a very limited capacity. By letting us know as soon as possible that you are unable to attend, you may be allowing another one of our loved ones the chance to celebrate with us. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the capacity restrictions at our venue, we have an incredibly tight guest list. As much as we would like to welcome your date, if they are not listed on the invitation/website RSVP we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate them. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

Besides getting from the airport to the hotel, our goal is to make it possible for you to access all wedding events on foot (with the occasional Uber/Lyft ride if you choose to stay at a hotel other than Park Lane) or through the transportation we provide to and from the ceremony/reception venue. If you would like more flexibility in your travel plans, you are of course more than welcome to rent a car!

Question

If I choose to drive separately, where will I park? Is parking free?

Answer

For those of you who choose to drive separately, there is parking available at our venue at no cost. You will be directed to the appropriate parking spots as you arrive. The parking is at the bottom of a hill with a short walk up to the ceremony and reception site. For any guests that require mobility assistance, we will provide rides up the hill.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As of now, we plan for the ceremony to be outdoors. For those of you who might be interested in wearing heels, skip the stilettos; we don't want anyone to sink into the dirt and end up with a broken ankle!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Portland-area weather in September is typically warm (average high of 75) and dry. However, it is the Pacific Northwest and the weather sometimes brings surprises, so it is not a bad idea to bring a raincoat and an extra layer. But, we are honestly more worried about wildfires this time of year.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food? Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We will be serving Italian food and have an open bar of wine and beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. We will have vegetarian pasta options available, but currently do not have vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free options. If this is a concern for you, please contact us via email!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! Of course! Absolutely! We are so excited to see pictures of the day from your perspective. You can always feel free to send them directly to us as well. All we ask is that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony.
