At the end of 2015, we met online. Let's just say it was "love at first swipe". We clicked immediately and knew we had to meet in person. For our first date, we did not want to do the typical "dinner and a movie". We decided on something very unique, a gallery called "Body Works". We had the best time and we realized that we were two nerds that were meant to be together. On December 4th, 2015 we made it official! In 2016, we were both accepted into our top choice schools. I (Sarah) started nursing school at UNC. Soon after, Kevin was accepted into Medical school at Wake Forest University. For two years, we commuted between Chapel Hill and Winston. Although it was challenging, we made it through, hand in hand. July 2018, I moved to Winston and took a job as a mother-baby nurse, while Kevin finishes school. As the months go by, we continue to grow our home together and eventually we got our vivacious pup, SIMBA! He is our first "baby" together. We spoil him rotten! For my 28th birthday, Kevin gave me a very special book, filled with our favorite memories and little notes we had left each other through the years. The very last page said "to be continued".. The next day, on May 25, 2019, Kevin took me to Childress Vineyards for my birthday. We had lunch and then he talked me into a quick walk. I saw a woman running around with a camera that looked a lot like Kevin's mom. Then I realized it was her, and this was the moment! Kevin took me under the gazebo and he told me that he loved me so much. He then pulled out a box with a GORGEOUS ring in it and asked me to be his wife! I immediately said yes. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. We celebrated for hours with our families and relived the proposal over and over. It was one of the best days of our lives! Ever since, we have been planning our special day. We have decided to get married at Bella Collina Mansion on March 28, 2020. We are so excited and we cannot wait to be husband and wife!
