On the day of the proposal, Kevin had asked me to dress up for some pictures because I was celebrating my birthday in the next few days. On our way to picture taking, I was surprised with a Spa day which included a full body massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. Afterwards, we went to our favorite restaurant and ended the day at the Cummer Museum which for us recreated our very first date night together! As we arrived, I could tell Kevin was becoming nervous but I was unsure as to why? So, I decided his nerves may have been from the added excitement from all his planning for the day. He strategically brought me into the museum's garden where a photographer had been expecting our arrival. Walking through the garden immediately brought back so many sweet memories of us being together. Our tradition had become whenever Kevin was in town visiting, we would make time to return back to the museum’s garden. It was here where we continued to grow as best friends and it was here where we had shared our very first kiss together. By now, we were taking multiple pictures with the photographer and I couldn't help but realize how truly grateful I was for Kevin. His spirit and constant joy continues to add so much to my life along with his kindness, love and support! As if on cue, Kevin grabs my hands while looking into my eyes and kisses me with a “I Love You, Sarah”. This was suddenly followed with Kevin getting onto one knee asking me to marry him!!! A week in which I only anticipated to celebrate my upcoming birthday quickly became a week for the celebration of our engagement as well! To God be the Glory for all he has done for us!! I get to marry the most amazing man, Kevin Jr. and this is just the beginning to forever!
