FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Elizabeth Fasano and Kevin Charles Doyle
Question

By when should I rsvp?

Answer

RSVP information forthcoming. Please plan to RSVP in late 2025.

Question

When and how should I get there?

Answer

The wedding will be held the evening of Saturday, February 21, 2026. The venue is Smithmore Castle, nestled in the mountains of North Carolina near the town of Spruce Pine, about a 1-hour drive from Asheville Regional Airport (the closest airport) or about a 2-hour drive from Charlotte’s Douglas International Airport. Given the remoteness, we recommend arriving no later than Friday, February 20.

Question

May I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation. Only those listed on your invitation are invited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, events at the Castle are adult only. Thank you in advance for your understanding and please reach out if you have questions.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Please reach out if you need assistance or have accessibility concerns.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony, reception, and sock hop are black tie, but please bring your snazziest, grippy socks to don for the dancing!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are currently saving for a photographer to capture everyone’s best moments! Should we be successful, we may consider an unplugged wedding, as we want everyone to be in the moment and enjoy themselves. Please stay posted!

Question

How does the Honey Fund work?

Answer

Thank you for considering a contribution to our Honey Fund! We are hoping to give you all an incredible experience, and appreciate any contribution. You can choose any amount to contribute to any of the funds available. Once you’ve selected a fund you’re interested in contributing to, the site will direct you to send the funds directly through Venmo. However, you’re more than welcome to send a personal check instead, please address it to Kevin Doyle. Thank you!

Question

What is Venmo?

Answer

No need to learn about Venmo for our wedding! If you’re looking for ways to contribute to the Honey Fund, you’re welcome to send a personal check to Kevin Doyle (Sarah is very bad at cashing checks, apparently).
