Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

While the happy couple would like their guests to be comfortable and "come as they are," they do request that guests please dress for the formality of the day. Attire that falls within semi-formal to formal is encouraged. They politely request that white be reserved for the bride. Ladies are encouraged to wear shoes that can accommodate walking gravel, grass, and other uneven terrain.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children? Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Kendall and Sarah wish they could accommodate all their friends and family (and anyone else they've ever met) to celebrate their big day, but limitations have been put in place in order to preserve their guest count. Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation. Individual guests with a plus-one will have an additional "unnamed guest" in their RSVP. Families with a plus-one accommodation for one or more of their adult children will have a plus-one listed as an "unnamed child." Please fill in the name of your guest when you submit your RSVP. If there is not an additional guest listed for your party, there is not a plus-one reserved for your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony begins promptly at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Guests are advised to arrive early enough to park and walk to the ceremony space. Reserved parking is available for those who would benefit from accommodated parking, as there may be uneven terrain along the path from the parking area to the ceremony/reception area.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, family and the bridal party will be asked to stay for pictures. Other guests are asked to move to the barn area for a "cocktail hour." During this time, guests are encouraged to indulge in light refreshments, mingle with the other guests, enjoy lawn games and activities, and locate their seats for dinner.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

The dinner menu will be as follows: Pulled Pork, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Green Beans with Bacon, and Salad Prior to the reception, light refreshments will be offered during a "cocktail hour." After dinner, there will be a dessert table available to keep guests fueled for the remainder of the evening.

Question

We want to get you a wedding gift - where should we bring/send it?

Answer

The bride and groom do not expect guests to bring a gift - your attendance on their big day is the only gift they request! However, those who desire to give a gift can have it sent to the address on the registry or can bring it with them the day of the wedding. A table will be designated for gifts brought day-of, with a box available for cards. More information can be found on the "Registry" page.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Kendall and Sarah have hired a professional photographer to capture the major moments of their ceremony and reception. During the ceremony, they ask that phones and cameras be tucked away and silenced, but they invite and encourage guests to take pictures during the reception festivities! Photos posted on social media can use our hashtag, #DuYouRemember.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Kendall and Sarah look forward to dancing and celebrating with their guests after dinner. There will be a formal send-off of the bride and groom at 11 p.m.

Question

Answer
