We met as coworkers in the gym at Austin College, where we both attended as undergraduates. What started as an easy friendship grew naturally into something more. We quickly discovered how well we got along—laughing through every shift and feeding off each other’s energy. As our feelings began to grow, so did our list of reasons to spend time together: late-night food runs after work, binging TV shows we mostly ignored so we could keep talking, bowling challenges, cramming sessions, and everything in between. By the time our years at AC were coming to an end, we knew that while one chapter was closing, our journey together was only just beginning.
