An extension of the San Diego Zoo and really cool to ride the safari around the park (at no extra cost)! Easy to do in an afternoon. Pro tip: Look for tickets without the fees on Groupon!

Our go-to happy hour/game day spot in Carlsbad. Make sure to get the Padres Dogs during the Padres game!
The Friendly
Our favorite burger in San Diego! Great music, good burgers and pizza, and shotgun beers. We stop often on the way to North County from the San Diego Airport!
Torrey Pines Gliderport
These are the cliffs where we took our engagement photos! Enjoy watching para-gliders or hike down to the beach through the access point. A great place for good photo ops!
Lafayette Hotel
Think McMenamins. Comes complete with multiple fun bars, a bowling alley/game room, restaurants, and a pool. One of our favorite bar spots in San Diego. It's also another fun place to stay if you want to book a room!
Leoness Cellars
Take a day trip to Temecula wine country! This winery is along the strip with a bunch of others. We had fun taking the winery tour before eating at the restaurant.
