There are now three distinct sections to the Riverwalk each offering something different. -DOWNTOWN RIVER WALK: the original section You can park at the River Center Mall Parking Garage for easy access to this portion of the San Antonio River. There are restaurants and bars along this section of the river walk and it is fun to take the Rio San Antonio River Cruise and hear the stories. Goriocruises.com -MUSEUM REACH (RIVERWALK): This North section of the river walk contains a lot of public art installations. Start at the “Pearl Brewery Shopping Mall” (on the site of the old Pearl Brewery) for parking, fun shops, restaurants, and weekend farmers market. -MISSION REACH (RIVERWALK): This South section of the San Antonio River is more of a nature hike with lots of vegetation, shore birds and other interesting features to see. It is lovely and kid friendly, with wide walking and biking trails.
