We met in high school! We were lucky enough to be in our high school marching band together. Some of our mutual friends thought we would be a cute couple. I totally had a crush on him as a sophomore when he was a senior. However, we were just casual friends.

Well after high school, we were constantly hanging out with the same group of friends, but never at the same time! In 2016 we finally ended up at a party together. We ended up spending hours together, talking about our mutual love of Crossfit (at the time), traveling, and surfing. I left the party giddy with excitement over our connection. I was convinced nothing would happen, and even assumed he had a girlfriend! Well, 6 months later he asked me out on a date and we've been together ever since!

On the anniversary of when he first asked me on a date, we went on an amazing glacier tour at Matanuska glacier in Alaska. It was an unbelievably beautiful adventure! Every few minutes I would think to myself, "wow, this would be such a great place to get engaged!" Well, towards the end of the tour, he found a quiet moment away from the rest of the tour group and asked me to marry him. I said "OF COURSE!" To make it even more special, he presented me with my Mom's ring, which meant the world to me. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in January!
