Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

For the ladies: A cocktail-length or midi dress with sleeves or a dressy jumpsuit in rich, fall hues like burgundy, emerald, or plum would be great. Layer with a stylish jacket or shawl. Guys: A suit in a darker color, perhaps with a vest for added warmth, would be ideal. Wool suits or heavier materials are a good choice. General Tips: Layers: Encourage everyone to dress in layers since Vermont weather can be unpredictable in October. Footwear Considerations: Ladies - most of the events will be on grass, so feel free to dress in comfortable, grass-friendly shoes (booties or wedges). Please note temperatures tend to dip at night, and since the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However, there will also be heaters to help keep you warm and blankets to snuggle in during the ceremony.

Question

What should I wear to the night before?

Answer

We’re kicking off the weekend with a casual backyard party—complete with taco trucks, s’mores, and drinks under the stars! Think elevated backyard party vibes: sundresses, skirts, dressy casual pants, button-downs, or fun jumpsuits. No need for gowns or suits, but we’d love everyone to feel a little festive and polished as we celebrate together.

Question

When can I BYOB?

Answer

Friday Night before Party- We’ll have plenty of food, s’mores, and margs on Friday night—feel free to bring your favorite drinks to share! BYOB is welcome during this time. After the Wedding – After Party When the reception winds down, the celebration will keep going! Join us for late-night snacks and the after party downstairs at the lodge—BYOB welcome. Bring along whatever you’d like to sip as we close out the night together.

Question

When should I not BYOB?

Answer

The Cocktail Hour and Reception events will be serviced by a licensed caterer and bartender. During this time (~3 PM to 10 PM) only drinks provided by the caterer / bartender may be consumed. NO outside / personal alcohol may be brought into the Cocktail Hour / Reception spaces. Any breach of these rules may cause an immediate shutdown of the event as this would violate Vermont liquor laws. - Please be cognizant of yourself. If excessive drinking leads to rude, unsafe or damaging behavior, guests will be required to leave the property immediately without refund.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

At the lodge! The lodge will be at capacity for the weekend, so please park respectfully in marked spaces to make sure there is enough room for everyone.

Question

Is there breakfast?

Answer
