Wait, where should we stay?

Answer

For our out of town guest we highly recommend you check out Airbnbs or VRBO instead of hotels. We have found that renting a place is more affordable than staying at a hotel. If you are unsure of a location please feel free to ask us about the area. We would encourage you to look in Groton Long Point (or near there), Mystic, or near the beach in New London. Stonington, Ledyard, and Waterford are all about 15 minutes away. Again, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary need?

Please let us know in your RSVP if there are dietary needs we can support, or any other accommodations that will ensure your comfort.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at the GLP Casino to park and get over to the ceremony by 3:30. You are welcome to walk over (.4 miles or so depending on the route) or take a shuttle over, which will start shuttling around 3:00.

What about Covid?

Answer

With the rapid increase in Covid cases recently, we ask that you please test before you attend. Your health and safety is more important than anything! If you need test kits, we are happy to send them. Please let us know.

Parking & Transportation between Ceremony & Reception

Answer

Please park your car at 50 Beach Street behind The Casino. Starting at 3pm there will be a minibus available to shuttle you between the Ceremony and Reception. If you would prefer to walk between the destinations please be aware that the distance is .4 of mile each way and it is not completely flat.
