Josh's Version: We first met at the local English pub for whiskey flights. When Josh walked in, he was taken aback, sat there in a white jumper, with her bright red jacket and furry hood hung over the chair, blonde hair glistening from the fire light in the corner, there was Sarah. "WOW, punching above your weight here aren't you Josh" he thought. Yet when the slow words fell from the Iowans mouth, he knew it was a level playing field, "Game on". Sarah's Version: Josh and I met on a dating app, but I tease Josh that he kept blowing me off because he was traveling for work. We finally were able to meet up at an English style pub. I started with a beer, just in case it didn't go well. One drink, and then I could head home. You know me, I like my early nights! But, it did not end after one beer. From there, we moved onto whiskey flights, laughing and chatting for hours about our love of travel, family and what we liked to do around Colorado. We both speak the same amount of sarcasm and love laughing, at ourselves and at each other. It was an instant connection, like we had known each other for years. Again, not wanting the night to end, we met up with some of Josh's friends at a bar and continued getting to know each other. I knew that night, I had met the man that I wanted to "do life" with!
